Our MSc-Master of Science students have arrived on campus

We were delighted to welcome the students joining our Master’s courses, who came from all walks of life to embark on a new stage in their academic and professional careers. More than 100 students joined the ranks of Institut Lyfe for the MSc-Master of Science in International Hospitality Management and the MSc-Master of Science in Leadership & Innovation, ready to take on the challenges of these top-level courses. These future industry experts and leaders, hailing from all over the globe, will now immerse themselves in an environment that is both challenging and inspiring.

Collaboration and creativity right from the outset

No sooner had our new students arrived than they dived straight into in a shared welcome day for both courses. It was an opportunity to get to know each other in a friendly atmosphere, but also to get directly to the heart of their subjects. The day was centred around the flagship project: Concept Design & Development, a transversal project that brings together the skills of both Master’s programmes. This first day also included an after-work gathering, encouraging informal interactions and fostering new synergies among the students.

Ambitious projects to shape the leaders of tomorrow

The coming months are set to be intense and rewarding. With theoretical, practical and collaborative projects lined up, our students will have no shortage of opportunities to push their limits and learn new skills. Each programme offers a set of varied and immersive modules, designed to equip students to deal with the challenges of the sector.

For students on the MSc-Master of Science in Leadership & Innovation, the focus is on innovation and the ability to meet the demands of the international market. Noteworthy projects will include participation in a Food Design Workshop, centred around the customer experience and innovation in the culinary offering. They will also have the opportunity to present Food & Beverage concepts for international hospitality establishments. These types of challenges will enable them to hone their creative skills while responding to concrete issues, in collaboration with industry partners.

On the MSc-Master of Science in International Hospitality Management, the focus is on Hotel Brand Design, a major project with the aim of conceiving and developing a new hotel brand. In addition to this central project, our students will also have the opportunity to collaborate with international hotel establishments in the context of consultancy missions. Companies will call on their expertise to tackle real-world challenges, such as brand repositioning, enhancing the customer experience, or innovating service offerings. These life-size projects allow students to put themselves directly in the shoes of future professionals in the sector.
