Institut Paul Bocuse is opening its 7th international campus in Russia

As part of its international development strategy, the Institut Paul Bocuse has entered into partnership with the Siberian Federal University.

From 2019, budding superstars of Russian gastronomy will be able to take its 3-year Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management course.

On 24 August, Dominique Giraudier, CEO of the Institut Paul Bocuse, and Vladimir Kolmakov, rector of the Siberian Federal University, signed an agreement for the creation and teaching, from September 2019, of a bachelor’s degree in Culinary Arts Management to around 50 Russian students.

These two leading establishments have joined forces thanks to their shared values of excellence and innovation, as well as their awareness of the challenges facing the international growth of the hospitality, restaurant and tourism sectors, and wish to work together to ensure the health and expansion of this booming industry.

This partnership, building on those already created with renowned higher education institutions in Peru, Singapore, South Korea and Japan, responds to the growing need for highly qualified professionals in the Russian tourism, hospitality and restaurant industries. The region also aims to make Krasnoyarsk the capital of Russian gastronomy.
The Institut Paul Bocuse will also develop exchange programmes to increase the international mobility of its students.

This agreement emphasises our desire to increase the standing of our institute and of French gastronomy all around the world. We aim to set up sites in new and developing tourist areas to increase the employability of our students.

This desire is also evident in the development of the Alliance by Institut Paul Bocuse network, a unique global platform bringing together 20 of the world’s best universities and colleges offering courses in hospitality, restaurant management and culinary arts.
