An Unforgettable adventure
Participants in the 4L Trophy drive for more than 6,000 km over a period of two weeks, take part in 5 sporting events and traverse 3 countries to finish their adventure in Marrakech. The objective of this amazing human experience is simple – travel through the Moroccan desert to deliver school supplies to some of the most underprivileged children in the country.
For this latest edition of the event, two ‘Made in Institut Paul Bocuse’ teams will have the opportunity to experience the frenzy of the 4L Trophy:
- Les Gazelles Bocusiennes (The Bocuse Gazelles), made up of Claire and Marie, who are year 2 students on the Bachelor in International Hospitality Management
- Le Coq et le Lion (The Cockerel and the Lion) made up of Hadrien et William, who are year 2 students on the Bachelor in International Culinary Arts Management
For our 2 teams, the 4L Trophy is the culmination of several months of work involving the mechanical preparation of their vehicles, the search for sponsors and collecting sufficient funds for their project. To help them, the G&G Pélisson Foundation at Institut Paul Bocuse supports them in their financing project.
The idea of participating in the 4L Trophy came to us a year ago. We’d just met at the Institute and we really wanted to share an experience together. We were immediately won over by the desire to participate in the biggest humanitarian rally in Europe, and the sporting dimension of the event made us want to take part even more.

A spirit of solidarity & responsability
Beyond the sporting challenge of the event, our students also take part in the rally for social and human reasons.
During the rally, we’ll have two main humanitarian objectives. The first is to help the Red Cross Association by delivering 10kg of food items. The second is to transport school supplies to Morocco to help the schools founded by the The Children of the Desert Association and participants from previous years.

A learning experience
The rally is above all an extraordinary human experience, during which mutual support, solidarity and intercultural exchanges are part and parcel of the expedition.
In the same way as all the student projects at Institut Paul Bocuse, there are clear objectives behind taking part in the 4L Trophy, making it a powerful learning experience. Indeed, the opportunity to get involved in this unique event will help our young students become outward-looking, responsible entrepreneurs.
