Faire défiler la pageThe MICHELIN Guide has just unveiled its 2026 Bib Gourmand selection in France, highlighting restaurants offering the best value for money around the world. There are now nearly 3,000 establishments bearing this renowned distinction, a symbol of quality cuisine accessible to as many people as possible. Created in 1997, the Bib Gourmand rewards establishments offering full meals at reasonable prices, while meeting the MICHELIN Guide’s exacting standards.
Among the new establishments recognised in 2026, several are run by graduates of Institut Lyfe, once again illustrating the ability of its talented students to make their mark on the French gastronomic scene.
In Lyon, Antoine Larmaraud, who graduated in 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in International Hospitality and Restaurant Management, opened Cinq Mains, a bistronomic restaurant, alongside Grégory Cuilleron and his brother Thibault Cuilleron. The restaurant attracts diners with its creative, convivial cuisine rooted in seasonality, faithful to the spirit of Bib Gourmand.
In Saint-Didier-au-Mont-d’Or, Grisha Dziesmiazgkiewiez (2013 graduate) and Sébastien Leroy (2007 graduate of the Bachelor’s degree in International Hospitality and Restaurant Management, followed by an MSc in International Hospitality Management), childhood friends who became business partners, see their restaurant L’Éclat de Pierre join the selection. Opened in 2019, the establishment offers elegant and generous French cuisine, where the product is at the heart of every dish.
These distinctions once again demonstrate the excellence of the courses offered at Institut Lyfe and the ability of its graduates to carry out ambitious, demanding and accessible projects. Combining entrepreneurship and culinary creativity, they embody the values of Institut Lyfe throughout the country.
