This international outlook extends beyond the campus, with part of the academic year dedicated to an academic experience at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences in Helsinki, Finland. A further opportunity to explore different approaches and broaden their understanding of the challenges facing the food industry.
Exploring international hospitality with the MSc-Master of Science in International Hospitality Management
The 2026 academic year marks a new chapter for Institut Lyfe’s MSc-Master of Science in International Hospitality Management, delivered in collaboration with emlyon business school. From this academic year onwards, the programme is offered over two years, giving students several options to shape their studies according to their background and profile.
In the first year, 40 students representing 11 different nationalities have joined the programme and been placed on either the Business Track or the Hospitality Track, depending on their academic background.
Almost 30 students have joined the second year directly, including several who are continuing their studies after completing Institut Lyfe’s Bachelor’s degree in International Hospitality and Restaurant Management.
From the very beginning of my Bachelor’s degree, I knew that I wanted to continue my studies by joining the MSc-Master of Science in International Hospitality Management. For me, the combination of Institut Lyfe’s expertise, as a true school of life that passes on the skills and art of French hospitality, and emlyon business school’s international business approach represents a real advantage.

Throughout their studies, students will gain hands-on experience and put their knowledge to the test against the realities of the industry. Work placements, field trips to Paris and London, projects undertaken for major hotel groups and an international experience at UNLV, the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, will all play a key role in their learning journey.
With hands-on projects, professional encounters and international experiences, the 2026–2027 academic year promises to be a rewarding one, full of discovery and learning for our MSc-Master of Science students. Through our postgraduate programmes, we remain committed to supporting every student as they develop their expertise, define their career ambitions and build their future in the food industry or international hospitality.
