Omaka Marie ORUBU

Originally from Niger and a graduate of Master of Science in Culinary Leadership & Innovation (2018), Omaka Marie Orubu has established herself as a recognized chef on the international culinary scene. In Abu Dhabi, she leads the kitchens of Taparelle Restaurant and NIRI Restaurant & Bar, a Michelin Guide–recognized address named Best Restaurant in Abu Dhabi and Best Japanese Restaurant for the second consecutive year at the 2024 and 2025 FACT Dining Awards.

Omaka Marie was also a finalist for the “Future Great of the Year 2024” title awarded by Gault & Millau, embodying a new generation of talent contributing to the international reach of gastronomy.
