Our master’s students have arrived on campus

The students enrolled in our master’s courses have arrived on campus! Across both the MSc. International Hospitality Management and the Master’s Degree in Leadership & Innovation, more than 110 new students from all over the world have come to join us for the next few months.

During a joint day of integration involving the two programmes, they were able to start work on the Concept Design & Development project, which is common to both courses, before relaxing over welcome drinks to get to know each other!

Innovating like future professionals

Theoretical, practical and team projects will ensure that our master’s students never get bored, and will continually be pushed to excel themselves. Students on the Master’s Degree in Leadership & Innovation will tackle tasks such as a Food Design workshop focusing on the customer experience, creation of desserts for the Indian market, or coming up with food & beverage concepts for an international hotel.

On the MSc. International Hospitality Management, meanwhile, the Hotel Brand Design project allows students to focus on creating a new hospitality brand. Over the coming months, they will also have the opportunity to offer a consulting service to popular international hotel establishments, addressing one or several specific issues. Real-life projects to allow them to step into the roles of future professionals and leaders.

A joint project for the two programmes has also been set up, in the form of the Concept Design & Development activity, which combines creativity and originality alongside skills in hospitality and culinary innovation. This is a 360° project where students must examine all phases of the creation of a pop-up restaurant concept: from market research, via the food & beverage offering, through to the customer experience.

International experiences

In April 2024, students on the Master’s Degree in Leadership & Innovation will head to our Finnish partner institute, Haaga Helia – University of Applied Sciences, for 8 weeks, while students on the MSc. International Hospitality Management will spend a few weeks on the Emlyon Paris campus, before flying to the United States to discover the international hospitality sector. A vast programme awaits!
