Graduate success stories

Whether they come from the Bachelor’s Degree in International Culinary Arts, Hospitality or Restaurant Management, our graduates dream big and succeed at the highest levels. In Michelin-starred restaurants and internationally recognised establishments, or winning awards for excellence, we are honoured to count professionals as talented as they are passionate among our graduates.

INTERNATIONAL MICHELIN GUIDES

For the Michelin Guide, the end of the year is synonymous with international ceremonies awarding stars for 2024 around the world. Several of our graduates are to be found among the new recipients of stars:

  • Fabrizio Mellino, graduate of 2013 and head of Italy’s Quattro Passi, awarded 3 stars
  • Cenk Debensason, graduate of 2012 and chef of the Arkestra restaurant in Istanbul, awarded his 1st star
  • Zhanxu Li, a 2020 graduate, received the special “Young Chef Award” during the Michelin Guide Beijing ceremony.

LA LISTE 1000

La Liste ranks the 1,000 best restaurants in the world. We are honoured to see several graduates of the institute in the 2024 classification:

  • Karim Guedouar, a 2001 graduate and General Manager at Boulud, New York
  • César Troigros, 2007 graduate and chef at the family establishment Le Bois sans Feuilles, Ouches
  • Yann Klein, graduated in 2007 and chef at Maison Lameloise, Shanghai

And our latest graduates?

Juliette Cothenet, a 2023 graduate of the Bachelor’s Degree in International Hospitality and Restaurant Management, has received the Best Barmaid in France award, presented by the French Bartenders Association. She therefore wins the 65th edition of the Best Bartender in France – Scott Cup.

“It is a great honour to have won the title of best barmaid in France at the Scott Cup this year, an iconic competition organised annually. Colin Field acted as patron for this year’s event, who was named the best bartender in the world on several occasion and was head bartender at the Ritz for 29 years. I entered the competitions when I was in my fourth year at the institute thanks to the advice of Alain Dauvergne, with whom I then had the pleasure of competing several times. Since then I have had a lot of fun pushing my limits in various competitions and my efforts have been rewarded with this title!”
